Half way there

In the this league format we have now played all the teams and both sides are towards the bottom of the league. Yes, availability has been a problem and more than likely will still be the case but last weekend we had enough to fill all the sides with mixed results. First team got absolutely tonked over at Bushey with them declaring on 240 before blasting us away in next to no time with some fantastic bowling for 56. Wickets again for Perrret, Dinnes and Knott despite being let down in the field with our top bat being Extras which is never great. Twos fared much better with a convincing win, batting jugs for Seb and Kev (again) with excellent support from quick single Pete Dev. Wickets shared around and this pushes the 2's in to 3rd from bottom but in the knowledge that the upcoming oppo are very good sides. Well done the Sunday side again led by the veteran Jon Perret who was the oldest in the side by two years.

Please remember our fixture against Hertford on the 27th July, start at 2pm and this follows on from our Ian Don memorial fixture last year. Get in contact if you can play.
