Ware batted first and got 113 all out. Anthony Lucas top scoring with 30 runs (almost all in fours). Datchworth slow bowler Lewis Tyler took 6 wickets.
Datchworths innings started great for Ware, Jamie Don behind the stumps juggled with the ball before catching the opener in Ben Compton's first over when Datchworth were still on zero. They soon recovered though and didn't lose another wicket on their way to victory, number 2 batsman Rob Nash ending up on 73 not out.
Next week is another tough match for Ware 2s. They play 2nd placed Southgate Adelaide 3rds , who have won their last 6 matches.
