Ware II match #5

The second team welcomed Ilford Catholics for a friendly this week. As Cockfosters were too scared to play us. It was a thoroughly enjoyable game a whilst the result did not go our way, they were a friendly bunch and the game was played with a great spirit. Sam Tilbey joined us for a couple of hours before being replaced by super Hugh Andrew’s who stared with the ball. Sam T and Ben K who both picked up a wicket, wickets for Jack, Sam C, Stuart and then Hugh ripped through them picking up three. Our batting was not great again and only, Stuart, Jamie and Ben K really doing anything decent. Back to the league next week.
